Ordering

• Orders must be made 4 weeks prior to event (minimum) Subject to availability. 
• Please allow up to 2 business days for us to get back to you regarding a quote
• Each cake/sweet treat quote is valid up to 7 days
• Remaining monies owed must be paid 1 week prior to completion date
• Final order will not be given until full payment has been received
• Paying the deposit secures your date and order

• Pick up is located in Pimpama, the address will be sent to you closer to your order date. 
• Pick up days are Monday - Saturday after 2:30pm
• Any collections that are late will incur a late fee of $10 for every hour that is out of the pick up window. 
• Pick ups that have been arranged at a specific time must be picked up at that agreed time other wise will incur additional fees. 
• If these times do not suit you please send us a message and we will do our best to make a suitable time for both parties.  
• Delivery is available to all Gold Coast and Logan suburbs, if your location is out of this area please let us know to see if we can arrange something. 
• Delivery fee is $1 per km and is priced for going to and from the drop off location.
• Someone must be home to accept the cake delivery. If no one is home at the time of delivery the cake will not be delivered.
• We will not be held responsible if you are not home during the delivery on the designated day of delivery and the cake or dessert will not be delivered as a result. 
•  Another delivery fee will be required to be paid if you would like us to attempt another delivery.
•  Once delivered and or picked up from our location and change of hands has been completed with the product in appropriate condition, it is then up to the customer to store and care for the cake as per our instructions. If anything is to happen to the cake after this exchange, we are not liable for any damages. 

• A 50% deposit of total order is required at time of order to secure your spot
• The deposit is refundable up to 2 weeks before order. 
• If the deposit is not received within 2 business days of finalizing your order the order may be cancelled (Please contact me ASAP to discuss any problems/possible late payment)
• If deposit isn't paid the order will not be secured
• Our payment method is Cash or Bank transfer
• If paying total amount in full at time of order cancellations will have to be in writing and full refunds will be made if cancellation is made more than but not less than 1 week before order date (Applies only to seasonal treat boxes)

• All requests for cancellations must be in writing 
• If a cancellation is made and it is less than 2 weeks prior to the order completion date your deposit will be forfeited
• If a cancellation is made and it is less than 1 week prior to completion date all monies will be forfeited
• If a cancellation is made and it is less than 2 weeks but more than 1 week prior to the order completion date and you have paid the full balance your deposit will be forfeited and the remaining will be refunded

•  Sweets By Caitlyn cannot be held responsible for any damage to the cake or products once they are delivered and in the care of a client or the venue. Where a client elects to self-transport we are not responsible for any damage that may be caused during transportation. 

•  Sweets By Caitlyn reserve the right to use any photos we take of your order for any media related activities such as Facebook, Instagram or advertising. 

Sweets By Caitlyn will not be held responsible for any allergies.

• Unless it is specified otherwise on your order, my products may contain or come into contact with gluten, dairy, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens.  It is the clients responsibility to inform their guests that of any risks.

• Sweets By Caitlyn may change their terms and conditions at any time which become effective once published on our website. It is the client's responsibility to read our terms and conditions before ordering and review our terms and conditions periodically to be aware of any changes.
